About Us

sofa-jobs.de is an informational portal about home work for unemployed, persons, senior citizens, students and single parents.

Its owner is Rainer Wiesehahn who studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau / Germany. While working as a lawyer he studied Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, HTML, Perl and Delphi.

After losing his free lance job in Germany he started a new life in Spain on the Costa Brava.

Since 2004 he has been searching the holy grail of earning money at home on the internet. He tried several online home jobs as an affiliate marketer for Amazon Products and for other fortune 500 companies.

His first web pages he already developped and published on the university webhost. This was in 2002 when he was expected to finish the studies of Chinese and Japanese. But instead he prefered to learn more about HTML, Perl and Delphi. So he became a web developper by accident.

Later he tried to earn money with his first websites. So he marketed books, laptops and all that stuff with affiliate banners on his websites. As it went wrong he read a lot of informational books about the principles of a successful home business, about internet marketing, about search engine optimization and search engine marketing.

Therefore since 2006 he has integrated Google AdSense Ads on his web pages. His online income was still $0 though.

Do you know why? Simply because he was too lazy to optimize hundreds of webpages. He also disliked a lot writing relevant keyword focused contents on every existing page.

After getting more persistent and reading more money-making books by Ken Evoy, "The Rich Jerk" and other authors Rainer optimized his websites and its contents. These efforts have not been in vain. The Internet income streams have started flowing towards the Costa Brava.
